Open floor: Work on the skills that require the most attention for YOU, or just hit that workout you missed last week. This class will be dedicated to practice a skill/movement we use in our daily workouts that is currently the weakest link. For example, you may want to spend this time to do some extra work on improving your Coordination (Double-Unders), or perhaps Rowing technique, Kipping Pull-Up, or L-sits and Handstand. Don’t forget about Olympic Weightlifting skills (Burgener Warm-Up), or maybe you just want to spend some extra time on Mobility/Flexibility (foam roll, stretch, etc). Open Floor doesn’t mean that you are on your own, we are going to be here to help you with what you need to work on. A lack Flexibility in any major joint can impede your progress with us. We highly recommend you start following Dr. Kelly Starrett’s MobilityWOD. He has posted over 300 videos on developing effective mobility and flexibility strategies, improve ideal athlete positioning and movement set-up, and implement whole-body maintenance practices.
