What a success Saturday’s Flex On The Beach competition was for CFG. It was a great day of fitness with great friends!
Big congrats to all 19 CFG teams for coming out and pushing through four pretty tough wods.
Also a huge congrats to all the first time competitors. You all went out & tested your fitness. Tested what you work so hard for in the gym everyday. I saw 19 teams work hard but more importantly having fun!
I hope everyone left this weekend with two things running through your minds: I had a great time and grew closer to like minded people, and I allowed competition to push me to further levels of discomfort. Your potential is limitless and for some moments this weekend I hope you were able to taste that.
Our podium finishers also deserve a big hand as well. Britta, Darren, Jessica and Joe.
Huge shout out to Dan, Catherine, Stef and John for placing 4th out of 64 teams in the Rx Division.
Your hard work before the competition day has proven to be the preparation you needed to excel this past weekend. Thank you for trusting in us and representing CFG. Now let’s get back to training.
The intensity will be higher than normal for the next four weeks due to the WZA workouts. Eat and hydrate for the training.
